101 Fahrenheit, group exhibition at Slipvillan, Långholmen, Stockholm

Site-specific installation

This outdoor installation was created for the collective exhibition 101 Fahrenheit on Långholmen island.  Designed as a colorful lighthouse in the heart of Lake Mälaren, it invited visitors to pause and immerse themselves in a meditative chromatic circle.
The work began with a traditional wooden gazebo situated in the enchanting garden of the 19th-century Slipvillan Kulturhuset. Transformed through the addition of seven vertical blinds in fourteen vivid shades, the structure shifted continuously throughout the day, responding to sunlight and wind. The rotating stripes reconfigured the space into ever-changing, luminous partitions.

Celebrating the long Swedish summer days, the gazebo became a magical retreat—a vibrant lens through which to experience and reinterpret the surrounding landscape.
